The hips are emotionally wired, a place where we store our deepest vulnerabilities - anxiety, fear, stress and pain. Happy hips is an intensive class that will focus on how to improve the flexibility and mobility of the hip bones and the surrounding muscles. We will explore different hip movements and asanas for an enjoyable and safe yoga practice. Furthermore, this class will provide a tremendous sense of relief and release, both physically and emotionally.
Mark is a certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Thai Massage Level 1 therapist and an Early Childhood Educator. He discovered Yoga at the age of 22, and since then he has been hooked into his beautiful divine practice. He loves to practice Hatha and Vinyasa, and he enjoys teaching mobility, strength, flexibility and mindfulness. Mark did his Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India - the Yoga Capital of the World. He has been to Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, India, Thailand and the Philippines, to name a few countries to teach workshops and conduct Yoga Teacher Training Courses. He believes in the saying “ What is essential is invisible to the naked eye”. He believes that Yoga teaches not only physical strength and flexibility but also confidence, self-love and compassion for others.
