Many Indigenous peoples around the world recognized 4-5 different genders or more. In this gathering we will explore the roles of Third Gendered, effeminate males as Mediators, Healers, and Keepers of the Languages, Rituals, and Songs. Standing between the masculine and feminine, the seen and unseen, we had roles specific to our nature which were recognized in youth and raised in accordance. These matriarchal societies moved to nurture humanity and our place in the Web of Life. This exploration is helpful for gay/ non-binary/queer men to realize deeper aspects of who we are in the Natural world.
