In these days of physical distancing and social isolation we see the need for enduring connection and belonging more than ever. An intentional community is a group of people who have chosen to live together or share resources on the basis of common values. This session will be an exploration into the world of queer intentional communities, in particular looking at shared houses, sustainable land-based communities, and sanctuaries. We will start with a panel to hear directly from people involved in starting and living in intentional communities, followed by smaller group conversations around specific themes, and ending with a question and answer period with the panelists.
